E' difficile cercare di esprimere in poche parole il sentimento che si prova realizzando che l'azienda creata dai tuoi nonni e oggi condotta dai tuoi figli, abbia ormai raggiunto i cento anni di vita. Mi vengono in mente i tanti sacrifici, i momenti difficili ma anche tutte le grandi soddisfazioni di questo lungo cammino. Forse, però, ciò che più di ogni altra cosa provo in questo momento, è un forte senso di responsabilità; responsabilità nei confronti di chi ha creato tutto questo, responsabilità nel lasciare qualcosa d'importante alle generazioni future nella speranza che lo continuino, responsabilità nei confronti di tutti i clienti che ci hanno sempre dato fiducia. Che le stesse folgoranti ispirazioni, cuore pulsante di questo primo secolo di Andrè Maurice, possano essere tali anche in futuro... e mi auguro per sempre.
It's difficult to try to summarize in a few words the feeling of realizing that the company created by your grandparents and non rum by your children, hai non reached 100 years of life. I remember the many sacrificio, the difficult moments but also the great satisfactions of this long journey. Perhaps, however, what I feel more than anything else at this Moment is a strong sense of responsibility; responsibility towards those who started all this, responsibility of leaving something important to future generazioni who will continue it and responsibility towards all customers who have always trusted us. May the same dazzling inspirations, the beating heart of these 100 years of Andrè Maurice, be such also in the future... and forever.

L'ispirazione che nasce dalla nostra storia rappresenta un profondo senso di orgoglio nei confronti di chi ci ha preceduto in questo lungo percorso della maglieria. A partire da Giulia Allario in Scagliotti che iniziò una produzione artigianale nella sua casa di Roncaglia, tra le colline del Monferrato, esattamente un secolo fa. Quello storico punto di partenza, ovvero il 1921 - l'anno della grande crisi italiana dovuta al dopoguerra, con una disoccupazione aumentata di sei volte rispetto all'anno precedente e un mercato dei consumi precipitato sempre più velocemente per la crisi di liquidità circolante tra la popolazione - visto con gli occhi di oggi rappresenta non solo una lungimirante intuizione ma anche un coraggioso atto precursore della stessa attività imprenditoriale che ritroviamo ancora viva ai giorni nostri.
The inspiration for our story comes from a deep sense of pride and gratitude towards who preceded us on this long journey in knitwear. Starting with Giulia Allario in Scagliotti who began an artisanal production in her house in Roncaglia, in the hills of Monferrato, exactly a century ago. That historic starting point, that is 1921 - the year of the great Italian crisis due to the past-war period, with unemployment increased six times compared to the previous year and a consumer market that fell increasingly sharply due to the circulating liquidity crisis among the population - seen through today's eyes, it represents not only a far -sighted intuition but also a courageous precursor of an entrepreneurial activity.
Radici ben ancorate nel territorio in cui siamo nati e viviamo da ormai quattro generazioni; è da qui che nasce un'ispirazione travolgente che s'identifica perfettamente con il concetto di Genius Loci - lo spirito del luogo. Come lo scorrere del grande fiume che raggiunge sempre e inesorabilmente il mare con un lento movimento spesso impercettibile, nel suo divenire il Genius Loci penetra nell'anima dell'uomo con sfumature mutevoli nel corso di tutta la sua intera esistenza plasmandone i pensieri, i comportamenti, le aspirazioni. Ed è per questo motivo che custodiamo dentro di noi l'intima consapevolezza che tutti i nostri abiti portino in sé un esclusivo ed irripetibile bagaglio di conoscenze influenzate da luci, colori, profumi, atmosfere, forme e tradizioni del nostro territorio d'origine - il Monferrato - unito al desiderio di scoprire e confrontarsi con il mondo intero.
